Natural Turf Training Centres

Training Pitches - Angola
Ten pitches were constructed by SIS to provide training facilities for the Africa Cup of Nations in Angola. The pitches were built in three locations, Benguela, Lubango and the capital Luanda. Three pitches were seeded Ryeturf and seven pitches were seeded with Bermuda Princess 77. The pitches were sand based.


Real Madrid Training Centre - Spain
SIS re constructed two natural turf pitches at the Real Madrid training centre. Pitch 2 which is used by the 1st team at the club, had a new under soil heating system installed, new root zone added and 20mm turf laid. Pitch 4 had new root zone added and was seeded. SIS supplied synthetic turf to the surrounds of both pitches.

Ajax Youth Development Centre - Netherlands 
Construction of six sand based natural turf practice fields and one artificial turf field. Construction involved fencing, floodlighting, drainage and irrigation systems, sewer systems and access to the facility. This centre has attracted the attention on many clubs in Europe and is considered one of the best of its type.

Ajax FC Training Centre - Netherlands
Design and installation of two training pitches for the senior squad. Both training pitches have under soil heating and automatic irrigation systems. Eight days after re-turfing the pitches were in use. Both pitches had over one thousand (1000) hours of use in the season.
