FC Porto - Portugal
SIS  has installed tow pitches for FC Porto. Removal of stadium pitch and installation of new 40mm turf  was complete in 3 days. The pitch was completed and the first game was played within 24 hours. The pitch was televised four days later for the UEFA Champion League match between Manchester United & F C Porto.

Råsunda Stadium – Stockholm
The re-turf was completed in 3 days. Including the removal of the existing pitch using SIS’s specialist ‘SISavator’ machine and then 20 refridgerated trucks transporting 8000m2 of 40mm thick turf from our turf farm in Germany. Turf was installed over two days using SIS’ specialist installation equipment and the pitch was played on after only 4 days.

Benfica – Lisbon
SIS completed a new stadium pitch with a two day
installation at the Stade de Luz, Portugal - home of Benfica. SIS replaced the fibre sand pitch with a natural turf pitch. This was the 2nd time SIS has installed a new pitch for Benfica in 4 years. 

 

Stepford Road, Glasgow City Council (7,000m2)
Resurfacing project involved the removal of a full sized sand filled synthetic pitch. SIS Solo 55 was then installed onto an existing insitu shockpad.  Our SandMatic fully automated infilling machine was used to ensure exact sand and rubber infill rates were evenly distributed.



Vauxhall Recreation Club, Luton
(2,430m2)
Refurbishment of 3 five aside pitches including installation of new blinding layer and drainage system with connection to existing soakaway outfall. Installation of 40mm tarmacadam and SIS Superior 50 3G synthetic surface.
