Stadium Lille Metropole, France (Natural Turf)
The Local authority athletics stadium which is currently home to the French champions had re-construction works carried out on the pitch and SIS were asked to finish the project by installing the new turf. The 25mm thick turf was grown and harvested in Bordeaux, before being transported 1000km in 19 refrigerated trucks over two days. SIS had a crew of 12 people onsite to ensure the 400 rolls of turf totalling 9,500 m2 were installed on time.
