SIS Installs new pitch for Athletic Bilbao (Natural Turf)
At the end of July SIS were contacted by Athletic Bilbao in Spain to supply and install new turf to the newly reconstructed pitch at their San Mames Stadium. The pitch reconstruction works took place throughout July follwoing concerst in the stadium. After a successful re-turf back in January for the club, SIS harvested and transported 22 trucks of 40mm thick turf from Boardeaux in France over a two day period. SIS Specialist equiptment was transported from Holland and a crew of 10 people from SIS were on site to carry out he operation working closely with the local maintenance contractor to ensure the project was completed on time and to the highest standard.
