Lucozade Powerleague Canary Wharf, London (Synthetic Turf)
Lucozade Powerleague new build complex at Canary Wharf has been installed on the top floor levels of NCP car park. The five 3G synthetic turf pitches are installed within five different floor levels. Due to the location and limited space to manoeuvre within the lower floors and as they were still being used by customers of the car park, all materials had to be crane lifted using a 45m boom. This required tight organised delivery schedules and coordination. The synthetic pitches consist of a unique freestanding framed fencing system, SIS synthetic turf with sand/rubber infill and lightweight flooring all of which had to be lifted during 2 day period over weekends.
