Crow Wood leisure centre, Burnley (Synthetic Turf)
The project involves the conversion of four existing tennis courts to 5 a-side pitches at Crow Wood leisure centre, Burnley Lancashire. All fencing and synthetic turf taken from site is to be installed in a new location so ample care is required to remove each section of fencing along with rolling of the existing synthetic turf. The four new 5 a-side pitches will consist of our fencing design, utilising the existing floodlight system. In addition, one new 5 a-side pitch will be constructed and positioned behind the converted pitches.
SIS have been requested to carry out final ground works and bitmac installation with new edging kerbs and bases for new lighting columns. SIS Superior 50 3G synthetic turf is our recommended playing surface of choice. Project completion is set for early June 2011.
