Biddick School Sports College, Washington (Synthetic Turf)
SIS has commenced refurbishment works to a full size pitch at Biddick School Sports College for Sunderland Council.
Over the next 2-3 months SIS will remove the existing worn out fencing and sand filled synthetic surface. The fence will be replaced with a new Duo Mesh system with recesses incorporated for storage of goals when not in use. Divide nets will also be installed to allow the pitch to be split into thirds for multiple game play. A one metre wide mowing strip will be installed around the pitch perimeter to help with maintenance of the pitch perimeter and the existing floodlights will be upgraded. The existing pitch surface will be removed and replaced with SIS Spine 60 3G synthetic turf to complete the project.
