12000m2 of 3G turf installed in Glasgow by SIS

SIS completed a major project for Glasgow City Council when two sites were renovated at Scotstoun and Balia in Glasgow. The project consisted of one full size pitch replacement from sand filled turf to a new 3G surface with four five a sides re surfaced at the same site. New fencing was installed. The second site at Balia was completed in the middle of March and included new in situ shock pad along with a 3G carpet for a five a side complex. The project was handled by Phil Blackwell on behalf of SIS The project consultant was Bill Gillispe of PSD Scotland.

The project was completed in 12 weeks despite difficult weather conditiosn which saw the SIS crews working in snow, hail, rain and some sunshine.
