Carlisle Hockey Pitch by SIS

SIS delivered on schedule and on budget a new full size hockey pitch for Carlisle City Council in January 2009. The project commenced in October 2008 with SIS on site and groundworks completed in two weeks. The manager in charge of the project was Marie Cooksey who has worked for SIS for the past three years.

The pitch was installed in December after the fencing and floodlighting was in place in November, the weather in December was not ideal to brush in the sand which was completed in January. This was the first project SIS carried out for Carlisle City Council and the first carried out in Cumbria, which is the home of SIS Manufacturing.
