SIS UK completed the replacement of two existing synthetic grass pitches in March at Dundee International Sports Complex (DISC)
One surface was replaced with the SIS Pro Hockey Wet Surface, which is FIH Approved to Global standard. The existing sand filled surface was replaced with the SIS Scrummager 3G surface to meet the IRB and FIFA 1 Star standards.
Simon Mroczek who managed the project through some of the most difficult weather conditions commented 'The project was a complex in that we had to provide and install two surfaces over the winter however our crew did a great job and the cooperation we recieved from Dundee City Council enabled us to complete the project and deliver two superb pitches'
Both synthetic carpets were manufactured at the SIS factory based in Maryport, Cumbria.
